hi I’m Rachel

Hi! I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist with a heart for helping kids grow into confident communicators. With over 11 years of experience, I work with children ages 2 to 8, specializing in mixed receptive/expressive language delays, apraxia, and articulation/phonological disorders. I’m Level One PROMPT trained and a QBS specialist, passionate about using play-based and personalized approaches that meet each child right where they are.

I grew up in Tullahoma from the age of 3 and graduated from Tullahoma High School. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Lipscomb University, completed leveling coursework at Tennessee State University, and earned my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Harding University. I’ve always been a lifelong learner and love staying current on the latest research and strategies in the field.

Outside of work, I’m a Christian, an adventurer at heart, and a proud pet parent to a sweet Cavapoo named Chloe, 9 fish, and one charming snail named Henry. I’m scuba certified, have gone skydiving, and am always up for the next big (or small!) adventure. I love to travel, watch movies and plays, hang out with my family and friends, play board games and toys with kids, explore new restaurants (big foodie here!), and collect/create jewelry.

What drives me most is making meaningful connections with the kids I serve, their families, and the community around me. Every child’s voice matters, and it’s a joy to help each one discover their own.
